Past and Future Projects
Hi, I'm Oozejar, a Japan-based designer and illustrator who enjoys drawing monsters, crafting maps, and writing RPG modules that I publish at Gourdin Konbo Club.

This is my first blog post, where I list up the projects I worked on in 2024, and what I would like to try in 2025.
2024
Last year, I ...
- Published Marrow Magic (version 0.5), an open form, resource powered, knowledge based magic hack for Cairn.
- Completed the English and Japanese versions of the Illustrated Bestiary for Cairn. This includes 98 monsters illustrated in 2024, translating all 145 creatures into Japanese to match the Cairn 2e updates, and designing the books' layouts. These were published in October 2024.
- Wrote the first draft of my first adventure module, complete with 20 black and white spot illustrations, a black and white cover illustration, a map, and layout. I hope to publish it within the first half of 2025.
- Worked on the structure and maps of another Cairn adventure.
2025
This year, the main idea is to expand my focus to include games beyond Cairn, and work with other people (if you are interested, contact me! 📪️).
I plan on ...
- Drawing more monster illustrations licensed under Creative Commons!
New ones for Cairn, but also creatures for games I've picked up recently, such as Eco Mofos!!, Mothership, and Mausritter. I'll probably set up a Patreon for that. - Working on a few new adventures of different sizes for the games mentioned above. Talking about working with other artists, one of my next Cairn adventure will feature illustrations by Klaus Pillon ✨️
We'll see what gets done, and I'm looking forward to all the surprises—good and bad, along the way.
